Black Arts operates a grouping or aggregation system where we take all of our various clients work and group all of the pieces to be cast into metal types required, then into groups of pieces to be built into trees that have very similar casting profiles. This process coupled with the specific turn around times we offer gives us a window of opportunity to build the best and most effective casting systems for every client’s models.
This stands us apart from ‘fast’ casters or smaller casters that do not have the pool of work to enable the most effective and cost efficient casting processes for each individual job.
We employ the thought processes of the ‘Iron Triangle’ of Good, Fast and cheap – of which you may only typically choose 2 at a time. We go for good and cheap. We have competitors that choose other combinations from the triangle. As our work is guaranteed to produce a casting that is readily finishable by a member of the trade with access to basic tools we do not compromise on quality giving us an option to choose from good and cheap = slower or fast and good = not cheap.
